Continuing to Stand with Gaza
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Throughout October, our team provided 9,000 hot meals in northern, central, and southern Gaza. This round of distributions concluded on November 1. We also continued bringing clean drinking water to different neighborhoods, which remains one of the most urgent needs. Families often tell us how relieved they feel just to have safe water for their children.
By the Grace of God, last month we were able to purchase school bags, pants, pencil cases, notebooks, and essential stationery for 250 students in Egypt. This included 32 bags, 8 large sacks of pants, pencil cases, and other school supplies, and 8 large bundles of notebooks. We are grateful that this support reached the children who needed it.
Recently, we assisted 208 Christian families with stipends to help them cover basic needs. Many are facing difficult conditions, including limited access to water and electricity and, in some areas, ongoing threats from armed groups. Some families want to return home but are unsure if it is safe or possible. Please keep them in your prayers.
Although some food has arrived in Gaza, the overall needs remain very high. Many communities still rely on help for hot meals, clean water, and basic items. We are also beginning to explore ways to support families who hope to rebuild their lives after this long and painful season.
Christmas Hope
As Christmas approaches, we are preparing to provide gifts for about 1,000 children. This includes Christian children in Gaza, children in the West Bank, and Iraqi refugee children (mostly Christian) in Jordan. We also include Christian learning material with all gifts, which brings joy to the children and their families. During such a difficult year, we hope this will bring them a moment of joy and a reminder that they are remembered.
We are deeply grateful for your prayers and partnership. Your compassion continues to make it possible for us to serve both the Christian community and many others in Gaza. Thank you for standing with us.
Blessings,
