Supporting Gaza in a Time of Need
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
In October, Christian Mission to Gaza continues to stand alongside families in need, offering hope through hot meals and clean drinking water. While this month we’ve been prayerfully discerning the areas of greatest need, our goal remains to provide 6,000 hot meals in October, just as we faithfully did in August and September. Each meal shared and every drop of clean water given is a tangible expression of God’s love and care, reminding our brothers and sisters in Gaza and the wider community that they are seen, cherished, and never forgotten. This act of love continues to be done under the umbrella of the Gaza Baptist church!
Beyond food, there remains a strong need for clean water, clothing, and other essential daily supplies. As Christian Mission to Gaza, our heart and focus remain centered on understanding how best to meet people’s most urgent needs and to help them rebuild their lives during this difficult season.
At this stage, we are especially seeking ways to support the Christian community, helping families repair their homes or apartments if they are still standing, and assisting those whose homes have been destroyed to rebuild their lives and cover their basic necessities.
We ask that you prayerfully consider this need and how together we can help the Christian community in Gaza rebuild their lives. This will be done by restoring access to essential resources such as water and electricity, and by helping families make their homes livable once again.
In the past 24 hours, the ceasefire was broken, but we thank the Lord that, through the intervention of the USA, it has been renewed. Let us continue to pray that this peace will hold and bring lasting relief to the people.
